Sausage and Broccoli Casserole

A great recipe used for a side dish or a meal all by itself.
  • 1 lb. Italian Sausage
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets, frozen is fine
  • 1 box Garlic Toast
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 2 cups of shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Place Garlic Toast on a cookie sheet
  3. Spread broccoli onto another cookie sheet
  4. Spread the sliced onion onto the same cookie sheet
  5. Drizzle with Olive Oil
  6. Sprinkle with Salt and Pepper
  7. Cook Bread for about 10-12 minutes until brown around the edges
  8. Roast broccoli and onions for about 15 minutes, just about half way cooked
  9. Remove bread from oven
  10. Cut into cubes
  11. In a casserole dish, spray bottom of pan with cooking spray
  12. Add sausage, bread, broccoli and onions
  13. Toss together
  14. Sprinkle 2 cups of cheese over top
  15. Bake for 30 minutes
