Tomato & Avocado Salsa

What happens when you don’t have enough tomatoes to make salsa or enough avocados for guacamole? Tomato & Avocado Salsa! It’s perfect for chip dipping, on a taco or a turkey bacon sandwich.

To use as a spread, instead of a dip, take a fork and mash it up a bit.

Tomato & Avocado salsa that can be used as a dip or spread
Ingredients
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 1 Hass avocado, cut into small cubes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped cilantro
  • Lemon
  • Lime
  • Salt & pepper
Instructions
  1. Combine all the vegetables. Cut the lemon and the lime in half and squeeze the fresh juice into the vegetable mix. Season with salt and pepper. Let sit for 15 minutes. Taste again and add more juice or salt and pepper if needed.
