What happens when you don’t have enough tomatoes to make salsa or enough avocados for guacamole? Tomato & Avocado Salsa! It’s perfect for chip dipping, on a taco or a turkey bacon sandwich.
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 1 Hass avocado, cut into small cubes
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
- 2 tbsp finely chopped cilantro
- Salt & pepper
- Combine all the vegetables. Cut the lemon and the lime in half and squeeze the fresh juice into the vegetable mix. Season with salt and pepper. Let sit for 15 minutes. Taste again and add more juice or salt and pepper if needed.
