Say what you will about winter, there’s something wonderfully cozy about it. Cable-knit sweaters and curling up under my Pottery Barn blanket are just some of my favorite things about the season.
So I was delighted when I recently discovered that a day of Netflix and a hot cup of tea can actually improve my skin! With so many binge worthy shows, who could say no? I’ve got Scandal and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt waiting in my queue. Olivia Pope’s coat collection is enough to make any gal wish for winter.
No need to feel guilty about staying indoors as these seven teas will keep my skin glowing year-round. For added health benefits—and a deliciously sweet flavor boost—I love to stir in a teaspoon of local raw honey. I get mine at the Farmers Market, but you can also purchase raw honey all year through your local health food store.
Another bonus: tea helps you stay hydrated, which is a skin win-win!
Tea is widely available and has a long history of being known to improve your health. But I also love the feeling and the experience of drinking a cup of tea. Wrapping my cold hands around a warm mug is truly divine. I also love to drink tea while I’m working on my knitting projects or diving into a good book.
So I say bring on the cold weather and do something great for your skin with these seven teas.
